What does that really mean? I know for a fact that it doesn't literally mean "I love you" (the guy doesn't even hit the wind around here anymore, haven't heard from him in ages, and I am the one leaving voicemails). But anyway, he's not the first to do this "I love you" thing. It felt weird every time I heard it for the first time from guys that I hardly know (well, for friends that I liked made me smile, but that's something else). I've had a history of it and I just wonder. What is a translation of guy-speak "I love you" in this case? I hate to assume "the obvious," so I just thought I'd see the input from you guys and gals.
Guys who say 'I love you' on the first date are normally those who were taught tell-her-how-you-feel as a way of showing affection ( and getting a girlfriend ) and are afraid to simply flirt with you or don't know how. They don't mean that they literally love you (usually) but rather this is the result of feeling insecure or lacking self-esteem, they are desperate for your attention so they think it's better to tell you how they feel straight away so that you 'understand' their situation and may be spare them a bit of your 'mercy'.
They should know that the "I love you" scares girls just as much as it scares guys for a first encounter. I made the mistake of slipping a "my Adam" (example) after the first few couple of dates myself, so I try to understand. But sounds sooo wrong to hear it! - 3 months ago
If a guy tells me he loves me too early, I assume he is saying that because he thinks it's going to make me drop my drawers for him. Usually that's what it is, because men don't fall in love quickly like that.
It's probably him thinking with his penis, his penis loves you (or the look of you) but there is very little chance anyone could fall in love on date one. They don't know you, anything about you to be able to love you. The other possibility is if they are really insecure and he is trying to bait you, reel you in so you then become the insecure one and he then has you right where he wants you - eating out the palm of his hand.
Scenario, you meet someone, you find them very attractive for some unseen reason (not solely based on looks) you get to know them and fall in love...

If you are small, are you afraid the guy will not go out with you and also if they are way too big? Guys, what is your opinion on this also?
