I've been in a casual sexual relationship with a great guy for about 6 months. He's said a couple of things that's made me think maybe he wants a relationship, but as soon as I started thinking I wanted more than sex, I can't seem to tell what he wants. He's really hard to read! Does he want more but not saying anything because he thinks I don't want to be tied down? Confusing, but I'd like some suggestions.
I always wonder why people hesitate to ASK in these situations. Are you afraid by raising the issue you will scare him away? That hardly seems to anything you will regret losing, in my view, once the initial excitement has subsided which I would think after six months it largely has.
Just ask him at this point! Why wonder? He is probably expecting you to ask by now, don't you think? You're probably right that he is also hesitating because he is afraid you will just back away completely.
