I haven't cussed ever since I was in like 4th grade. lol (I'm 18) I don't plan on doing it either. I do sometimes use substitutes like fudge.dang it. lol that kind. And occasionally stupid/retard/dumb. That's about it though. Everyone around me and my family cusses, but I'm the only one that doesnt. My mom told me I would go to hell if I cussed when I was a little kid,(not the exact words.) so I guess that's what scared me and I got used to not cussing.lol I feel like I'm the only one that doesn't cuss. I can't even get a bad word out of my mouth. It wouldn't even sound right coming out of my mouth if I tried. lol What do you guys think about cussing? Does it make me less of a man?(I look like a little kid)
only people with limited vocabularies would see the need to curse- the occassional outburst is expected, but if every other word that comes out your mouth is a curse word then its a problem and I would definately suggest that the person picks us a book or thesaurus and add some words to their vocabulary.
Yes it makes you less of a man. J/K no your fine, I mean do you go to a country where they don't speak your language, and start to question your ability to be a man? . I would hope not. Same deal-- cussing is just a different language--except you can understand it :)
I think that the occassional cussing is ok, like when you're telling a story and its an "expression" or when you're really upset. But a person that cusses in every sentence they say is VERY UNATTRACTIVE. It just shows that you don't care enought to carry an adult conversation or an intelligent one at that.
I don't think that this makes you less of a man, don't worry. It's actually a good quality to have a guy that doesn't cuss in every / every other sentence they say.
i think its better I actualy stopped hanging out with this one guy because every word out of his dirty little mouth was EFF EFF EFF BBBB it got so annoying I told him to either stop cussing or stop talking ( a little bitchy but I was tired of it!)
I generally don't cuss either, and I'll be 19 in a couple weeks. I think it's a good way to show your sense of humor though. Like how you said you use substitutes, I do that too. But I like using completely random words instead of the typical "fudge" and "dang it."
I honestly say good 4 u. I don't do it a lot usually only when I'm angry but I have friends that do and it's like every word comes outta there mouth is a bad one and there's no point it just makes their sentences longer and them look stupid
I don't really have a problem with a guy who didn't cuss, but I'm guessing he'd have a problem with me. I don't say "fudge" unless I'm referring to little chocolate squares, and I'm not about to change how I talk for a guy. It would seem kind of weird to me to be 18 and still be worried about what your mom had told you when you were a child.
Lol I'm not worried about what my mom told me, it's that I just got used to not cussing. I don't care if other people cuss, I'm just not used to using cuss words. and I don't say fudge unless I'm with my friends lol - 4 months ago
I agree w/u on cussin I don't c much a reason for doin it, I diffently don't go out of my way to try and cuss. I think a lot of pple who cuss just do it since they don't know any other words to explain how they feel, I think ur more of a man for not cussin!
