I know there's a rare few that take interest, and those rare few are more-- how should I say, 'man like' than the rest, but I've yet to find a cute girl that's really into her ride or just cars in general.
Well I'm a cute girl and you would never see me in a p.o.s. car. I love hot rods and muscle cars lol. I guess I don't know much about them but I like the way they look. Don't get me wrong I like expensive foreign cars too! My cousin is a mechanic and I'm around him a lot so I know somewhat about cars. Don't assume cute girls don't get into cars lol.
Aha! Ok. There's the answer I was looking for. So they're out there aren't they? - 4 months ago

Yes they are! You can't assume something about a cute girl just by how she looks. That's like saying "oh she's blonde she must be dumb." You can't say "Oh she's hot she won't know anything about cars." I mean I probably wouldn't spend the day at a car show but if I was with a guy and he wanted to go I'd go for a little bit. Ha. - 4 months ago

Awe you gave me best answer!!! I read your profile and they only reason I can think of you being single is because girls don't find you attractive. You seem pretty well rounded and sweet. - 4 months ago
haha I havnt found any other girl that likes cars like I do.im just weird I guess.my mom told me all I needed to know about how cars work.and I can most of the time tell you what's wrong with a car by listening to it or driving.but I hardly know anything about the outside of a car.still learning!
I don't know but all the women in my family love cars! But we all listen to old rock like ACDC, Kiss, Deff Leppard, Aerosmith etc. I suggest looking for a girl who likes that music and chnaces are she's gonna have a thing for cars!
well iam a girl I'm not into all the parts and shit of a car but I like to go drifting and I like cars but I don't know every little detail about them if its fast and has good sound then I'm happy! and it has to look sexy too . I also like truck as well not all girls hate cars.
Well, my dad's a mechanic so I'm kind of in between. I know which cars are a pain in the ass to fix and which ones aren't, and I know a bit about engines, repairs, etc. Am I crazy about cars? No. I've seen enough of them to view them all as machines that get you from one point to another.
However, one day I will own a black 1970 Chevelle SS with red hood stripes. . .one day :]
Wow... I'm really amazed by all this. Go figure... Nice choice. ;) - 4 months ago

Amazed by what? What I know about cars? I have two older sisters who know as much about cars as I do (they probably know more, actually) and my mom's pretty knowledgable too--it's just a family thing. - 4 months ago

OMG I LOVE CARS! From the new ones to the old ones! I love the new cts cadillacs, is300 lexus, and my personal favortie bugati veyron! I love old cars too! Like a 67 camaro, Nova, or chevelle! And I'm one of the girliest girls you will ever meet! haha
I really don't know. I can tell you different sorts of motorcycles, but I can't tell a single thing when it comes to four wheels.
I guess it's just because of the sterotypes and the way girls and guys are raised differently from birth. They aren't told directly, but there's an underlying feeling of Taboo when it comes to girls working on cars and other such vehicles.
Alot of guys are into fashion, I mean at least where I'm from. Some of my friends care about their style when we're hanging out. I try to think about what I wear for the occasion and try to match things up. - 4 months ago

Could you sit for hours though picking out an outfit to wear? Do you know what's cute and what's not on guys AND girls? - 4 months ago

Look at the difference in toys a child is exposed to at a young age. Girls had barbie dolls and baby dolls, some of them did things like peeing or drinking but for the most part they had no functionality.
Boys have toys like transformers, power ranger zords that combine to form a big one, radio control cars. Boys are taught from a young age indirectly that FUNCTIONALITY is more important than style. It's why our toys as kids all have to *DO* something other than just look pretty. - 3 months ago
So you see, boys are taught from a young age just based on the toys made for us that everything has to be functional. Our toys transform into other toys, combine to form bigger toys, or are things you use to build toys. And then there are the toys that are actually have working engines/motors. Do you see the difference? Women are taught that form is more important than function and men are taught that function is more important than form. - 3 months ago
Question Asker
That's actually a really good point.. - 3 months ago
i like cars I'm always going around saying what cars I like but to tell you anything about them I really don't know $hit about em. I actually want a 86 i-roc z camero I think that's it like I said I don't know much about em but a friend of mine has 1 of them that he's selling and I think that's what he said it was .
They're big hunks of metal that get us from place to place. That's all I look at them as. I'd value one more if it was reliable, but that's about it. They all go as fast as you're allowed to go, and some of them cost a lot more for no particular reason that I understand.
"...some of them cost a lot more for no particular reason that I understand."
Have you ever pressed the pedal on the right, all the way down? That's why. :)
"Why do you like them?"
Well, they have the potential to express the kind of person you are to the rest of the world. I mean, we all want to be different and I figure for the most part, girls try to be different in terms of clothing, make up... etc. So why not express yourself through what you drive? - 4 months ago
Answerer
They don't cost more just because they can go faster. At least that's not the only reason. And I can't go that fast anyway. I live in Chicago, there's no room to really cut loose. I might like the speed thing more if I lived in a less urban area.
This probably is a guys vs. girls thing, but I don't think I'd ever think about expressing myself through a car. - 4 months ago
Um. The majority of girls don't care about cars because they are, well, girls. It's a gender difference. I could ask you why you don't like to embroider, knit, or gossip. Stereotypes are stereotypes because they are based off of broad generalizations, and the most basic one is gender.
Men like this, and women like that. It's biological. The brains are just different.
Lol I will pay you $50 if you can find a girl who likes to knit and embroider, under the age of 30. Heck let's make it the age of 35 just for good measure. - 4 months ago
