Some people are just miserable to begin with. They drink away their problems then explode on others. This stuff leads to alcoholism and abuse, and also a bunch of unnecessary apologizing, usually by the person who gets drunk and makes an a$$ of themself. People who tend to be rather emotional usually get like this, I've noticed.

Hmmm not all guys get angry when drunk... and girls can get angry when drunk too. I have a very good girl friend that I hate getting drunk with because she always swears a lot when she's drunk. Whereas I'm, not angry at all when I drink, I become more enthusiastic but not angry. I do know of many guys who get very aggressive and such when they drink, but I also know a few guys who are the opposite - alcohol just makes them more social but 0 aggressiveness and violence. Alcohol just reveals your true self - if you're a very stressed person and have a lot of anger inside, it can come out when you drink. If you're not, then drinking won't make you violent.

It is because alcohol is a drug. It is a depressant. It inhibits executive functioning, which for those who are low executive functioning individuals (who can't control their emotions or have a low tolerance for frustration), it causes aggression. Also men have higher level of testosterone, which means we are more anger-prone to begin with.
I am fat. How many of you can straight out say that? No, not chunky, chubby, big-boned, or whatever-- I am able to come out and admit that I am fat. I know that doing something like that is difficult...
Well, to be honest, that was quite the misleading title. Chivalry isn't dead, but it's sure as hell on life support. Where has this noble act of common courtesy gone? Who is killing chivalry? But,...
When giving tough love to a friend or even someone you don't know - I would like to bring up a few points that may seem "considerate" to think about, before advising. Tough Love isn't for everybody....
