Jealousy has a big link to self esteem. If you work on your confidence you will strengthen your self love and self worth. The stronger you are with that the less jealous you will get. You won't need to be because you will realize how great you are. It takes effort and sometimes you have to really talk yourself out of it. But in the end it's so freeing and so worth it. Ways to build self esteem? Work out (better body image, releases endorphins, less stress), pick up new hobbies, making goals and learning to think positively instead of negatively.

JEALOUSY! - I hate it. It is silly and self desutructing. The thing I have found is to step back and review the situation. Is it worth getting jealous over, or is it just you overreacting? Determine beforehand what you deem "acceptable jealousy" and what things just make you seem crazy and practice self control and trust.

Just calm down and try to force yourself not to over-react or react negativly. Just take that energy and use it for something else. Try to set yourself into a different mind set when around things that make you jeleous, or just try to leave the area all together. If all else fails, sit down, close your eyes, count slowly to ten then slowly back to one and don't do anything irrational.
