Definitely not. I love shy girls. There is a mystique around a shy girl that's irresistible. It like creates a challenge where we just have to crack it and learn more about a shy person. Personally, I hate load and obnoxious girls, so shy girls just fit the bill.
shyness can be cute up to a point, and some guys really enjoy bringing a girl out of her shell.
that said, over-shyness can just make things difficult: if a girl runs away or can't respond when she's approached it makes it hard to ask her out!
also, if a girl is too shy to go out with the guy (to see friends, family, etc) then it can put a strain on the relationship.
i think shyness in girls is generally much more accepted in society that shyness in guys, who are still generally expected to be the ones to make the first move :P
