he has a rep for sleeping around alot, especialy at parties when he's drunk. he cheated on his last girlfriend alot. so she finaly dumped him and after trying to get her back for awhile he seemed to have just accepted it. well I met him through a friend and we seemed to really hit it off. we so far hung out 3 times. twice alone. movies and then a party, my friend keeps telling me he's not a good guy but he hasn't tried putting any moves on me.This last time we hung out I thought we had more chemistry then ever but I'm confused because I don't know what he’s really looking for. in texts he’s pretty flirty but does he just wanna get in my pants. Is he trying to make me confortable by not making any moves and then just going for it one day.he invited meh to a party today but said he wasnt sure if it was on and that he'd conact me.well it was getting late and he finally just texted me but I didn't answer. should I just cut all the ties? He is obviously playing you, and you will possibly fall into his game and be dumped as well. If many people tell you he is some sort of a player, then that's because it is. You might be special, but these guys don't give a shit how special some girls are, they just need a hole where they can lay the bunny for a while.
Seriously, back off before you get hurt, because you will if you keep this up.
If you're worried about him being a player, just don't have sex with him for a long time. If he tries to, just say no. If he's okay with waiting a super long time to have sex or do 3rd base things, then it should be okay.
But, it doesn't sound like you're prepared to handle a guy like this, ESPECIALLY because you're still in HS. If you're not sharp enough to know how to deal with him if things get tricky, just politely tell him you aren't looking for a relationship.
