This guy in my class constantly make fun of me jokes around in front of his friends but when were alone his nice and hugs me .What I don't understand is why he acts that why in front of his friends.Have any opinions on this?
Either he has multiple personalities or he likes you. And since you're younger, I'm leaning towards he likes you. that's how younger guys are. When you're alone, tell him how being teased annoys you, and hopefully he'll become more aware of how he acts. Sounds like he doesn't want his guy friends to catch on. or he's too embarassed to ask you out.

Oooh, you failed to mention that. That may be the underlying cause. Guys are very competitive, and if he "wins" you, his guy friends may get upset, or it could become awkward. I've lost guy friends because of that situation. This isn't a fun spot for you to be stuck in. - 4 months ago

There's no specific way to act in this case. Just be yourself, and keep your cool. If you let your emotions get the best of you and get "dramatic" as guys like to call it, he'll get scared off. Sounds like he's a bit nervous. Let things take their course, but if he does things that make you feel uncomfortable in front of the other guys, call him on it.
