My ex-boyfriend and I are still very close we talk all of the time on aim and we hang out a lot. When it is just the two of us he is very talkative and we can carry on a conversation for a while, but when we are with friends he tends to completely ignore me after and initial greeting. Why is this, most of the time I cannot get him to stop talking (and I love it) but when we are in a group it is like I am not there. . .
I'm just speculating here, but it sounds like he is concerned with the inner politics of the group of friends.
for the sake of appearances, he feels that he must prove to the group that you two are broken up, and have nothing to do with each other anymore.
the truth is, that you are good friends, but he can't possibly find a way of effectively communicating that with the rest of the group without being chastised.
honestly I don't get it if you break up with him why you're keep seeing him , what's the mening of this if both of you couldn't make ot work out before , why don't find a guy and move on so you don't think about him .
We had been friends for about five years before we had started dating, we dated for about three months, but we were just too busy: we both had part time jobs, went to different school, and played sports so we didn't really have time to date but we didn't want to be fully rid of each other, so we mutaully decided that it would be easier if we were friends. - 4 months ago
