i have the same thing happen to me. I chose not to go beyond friends with benefits, because I didn't really like him as anything more plus he was my exes cousin. (I had a slut phase). but you said that you were thinking of him as a boyfriend material before y'all hooked up, so why not give it a try.
I would stay single and just tell him it could be a friends with benefits.i would be scared to even give it a try becasue he may cheat. think about it liek this, ok you and him had sex even before dating so think if you are together what are the chances of hom cheating I mean its not like you live with him so anything he does when your not around is on him and your feeling!
