I became really good friends with this guy in ninth grade. He used to come over and ask me to go for walks, or we would study/do homework together. We would hang out one on one once about every month and the rest of the time we would talk with each other at school in class and sometimes at lunch. I was totally taken by him, and flirted, and I am pretty sure he flirted back. Everyone told me they thought he liked me, and I was ecstatic!

He's had several girlfriends, but he used to continue to hang out with me and tell me about them. Basically he would "spill" his feelings to me about his life (including his gf's). Now, after the summer of grade 10, he doesn't talk to me or acknowledge me whatsoever. So I don't talk to or acknowledge him back. But I want to know why he's doing this! Does he hate me? Does he just not care anymore? I'm stumped.

There are a couple possibilities.

If he has a girlfriend its very possible that she told him that she doesn't want him hanging around with you. But if that were the case I personally would tell you, even if she told me not to tell you (but if that were the case, unless this girl was VERY special to me I would leave her since that's the first step toward the Girlfriend dragging me away from my friends).

if he doesn't have a girlfriend, it's probable that he's simply started hanging out with different people and "outgrown you" (no offense intended) as the saying goes. But again, I would let you know in some way, I wouldn't just randomly drop you and leave without so much as a second look.

There is a third possibility though. Depending on how long he's been seperating himself from you (I'm gathering about 6 months now?) you might've unknowingly done something to piss him off.

My advice, next time you see him, ask him if he's okay. If he responds "yeah I'm fine" ask him if he's sure (corny I know) and point out that he hasn't spoken to you since whenever.

If he ignores you, and you're sure he heard you, then he's changed for the worse.

Sounds like he's changed, not sure why he would hate you doesint sound like you did anything wrong. My best guess would be that he's hanging with a different crowd of people and he's changing.
