Honestly, tell me if you are gonna hit a girl. Punch her and abuse her. I don't respect this or any guy who performs it. But are you gonna hit a girl, even if she has ticked you off to a level where all you want is to beat her...like a guy. Even though you know she will lose. She doesn't have to be your lover or anything... just a girl.

Is there some situation? Sure.

If she's beating up my girlfriend, I'd deck her in an instant. I would hope that any guy you'd date would do the same in your defense.

(And: I know female Marines; and "you know she will lose" isn't the case. )

Well considering the fact that women want to be treated as equals, I'd say it would make sense that there is as much chance of a guy hitting a girl as there is a chance of a guy hitting a guy when the guy pisses him off. This world is full of double standards. You shouldn't expect a guy not to hit you if you expect to be treated equally and fairly.

But the point is that no one should really hit anyone.. unless it's like a sport.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the question. I get the blanket question, but I don't understand the context. Would you ever hit the Dalai Lama? Is there any scenario under which you would? What if you'd known Gandhi? Could he have gotten you to hit him?

So what are you getting at here?

I like this question. I have gotten into situations with my boyfriend in the past where I will slap him and he'll hit me back! What the hell is that? I think a guy should never hit a girl regardless if she is hitting him. I'm not saying it's okay for a woman to hit a man but just that men aren't supposed to hit women.
