Ok so the Friend with Benefits hasn't called me in about 2 1/2 months and the last time we spoke he was supposed to come over after work. He called like he said he would, but I forgot he was calling and missed his call.I haven't heard from him since that day. Before all this he knew his friend had been making passes at me via text. Could that have something to do with it?

Why would a friend with benefits be scared of rejection? Rejection of what? Isn't the description of FWB "You can have your cake and eat it too"? When that's the case, what would he be scared of? He already has been getting what he wanted in the first place, hasn't he?

Am I missing something here, or maybe he is the one who wants to take things to the next level?

Question Asker Well yeah. I'm leaving a lot out I suppose. But we haven't been sleeping together in a long while just a lot of flirting on his part. I'm just a little more cautious with my heart when it comes to him. He was coming over to just visit not have sex. - 11 months ago
