If they had their way, get rid of the rich, get rid of the homeless, every person in the world would have just enough to get by.

Great, so now you've taken away the very Thing(s) that you like in men.
MONEY and AMBITION.
You NEVER hear a man go... Gee... I wish ALL women were ugly.

Sure not (all) men have ambition that's linked to money.
BUT ill wager that the 1% in that aren't, will eventually get bored.

And ill bet that the guy who has the ambition to build 10 foot castles out of toilet paper isn't very attractive.

Sure not ALL women are attracted to men who have money. But most of them are.
MOST.
And Even more won't date a man with ZERO ambition.

SO don't you want a world full of men who have zero ambition?

Isn't that HOT!?

    representative of the entire population. A well-carried out study that corrects for societal changes over time is going to give you a lot more information.

    While experience can be a source of evidence/information, there are many instances in which your personal, subjective experiences shouldn't carry as much as objective evidence.

    Using whether or not people's ideals become more conservative or more liberal as they age is a good example. Perhaps your personal experience is that people become more conservative as they age and that experience is based on yourself and the people immediately around you. But that doesn't mean that those people are

    A belief should be based on a foundation of evidence brought about through experience and information gathered through years. That doesn't mean you shouldn't question that belief but there comes a point where when you wake up and notice that gravity is still there that you stop thinking about it and question its existence.

    Actually, I asked because I'm genuinely curious. I'm a skeptic and I'm more than willing to change my mind about things if the evidence/facts support it. I did look for studies that suggest the opposite, because when I look into something, I like to read both sides of the argument. I didn't find any, so I thought you might be able to provide some. Since you said statistics show it to be true, I thought that meant you had some statistics you could share.

    Youre going to believe whatever agrees with your world belief. Typically only a major change in your life is going to change a major belief and me quoting 100 links on the internet is pretty much nothing.
    So yeah, pointless.

    Its funny to note that most people are asked that if you gain wisdom with age and yet statistics show that the majority of people who are older tend to be less liberal as they get older.
    And yet MOST people say that most people gain wisdom with age.

    It sounds good to me a world where money had no role,nothing wrong with having a world free from poverty.Money isn't love nor can it ever replace it. I will take simple,selfless,pure love any day over any amount of money.

      well good for you.
      There aren't very many women like that. There are too many that are entitled to men making a crap load of money and paying every time. In fact, stuides have shown that a more a woman makes financially, the more the man has to make than her. They said that the man on average has to make around 3 times as much as the woman in order for them to be attracted to him.
      ( the ones that care about money that is.)

    God forbid society help the poor.

    And no one is getting rid of rich people; we're just expecting them to participate in creating a more humane and just society. Slippery slopes are illogical, so I suggest you hop off that train of thought.

      I have no problems with socialism and making rich people give me their money. the problem I have is with the results in which that creates in doing so. ITs all well and good if it works. The problem is, it doesn't. I think that stealing would be a good thing if it worked, but I think the reason why its wrong/immoral is because it doesn't work. THe end results to the society and humanity is why you shouldn't do it.
      Not because the government or god says you shouldn't but because it doesn't work.

      Taking money from someone who earned it to someone who didn't, is pretty much the very definition of stealing.

      I know, I Need a new tv, I think ill go into my neighbors house and take his. After all he already has two he doesn't need another one, cause I don't have ONE.

      If stealing from the rich and giving to the poor is your idea of providing equal opportunity, then maybe so would scaring an attractive person for life just so the ugly person has the same kind of opportunity to get a hot guy.
      Dont you want an ugly girl to have the same opportunity as a hot girl to get a hot guy too?

      You don't take away someone else s opportunity in order to provide someone else with theirs.
      When you do that, you make everyone equal.

      I clearly said in my post that you can in fact be ambitious and poor. Its actually very possible.
      but how ambitious would a man be IF making more money than his neighbor was a punishable offense by law that demanded the death penalty?

      Most men are ambitious because they believe their ambition will eventually lead somewhere ending up in either recognition of their ambition or money.
      Even a painter who paints only for himself would rather make money doing so.

      Its not about the dollar amount, its not about how much money the poor are making and that's been constantly proven.
      Its about EQUALITY.

      So making everyone financially EQUAL requires getting rid of the bottom, getting rid of the top and making everyone mediocre.

      Ambition has little to do with money. You can be ambitious and poor.

      My father is what I would consider to be extremely ambitious and we're in the bottom 5.6% of American Households according to the Census Bureau and bottom 3% for American Families.

      Even in America, ilke I said before, in America what was considered poor in the past in America is no longer poor now.
      The standard of living in America for the poor has increased.

      And liberals would STILL complain that the poor wasn't driving around in golden chariots powered by burning only 100 dollar bills.

      Secondly, personality doesn't pay the electric bill.

      ALSO most women want a man with money. That's great that you claim you dont.

      Lastly, ill bet even you want a man with ambition. And if you do that's great but most men will sit on their ass with no ambition when their ambition doesn't see dollars.

      You are clinging to relativity, the poor in America are still poor since all that is not poor in this regards is at an extremely high standard. So...

      The rich geting richer is a sheepish libreal stance that is spouted as if its fact and it suggest that the poorer get poorer.
      As these facts show its FALSE. The standard of living that is considered "poor" has actually increased.
      AND the people who are rich are not getting richer. How is that possible when the middle class and upper class pay most of the taxes and the standard of living for the poor has increased?

      its relative. All of those things you say are "cheap" are not cheap to someone not living in America.
      I used American statistics. Its all relative and that's the whole point. What was considered poor today was not considered always considered poor even in America. The poor standard of living has increased, making poor, not actually poor, relatively.

      If you continue going down that road, making everyone make the same money,
      Fine but be prepared for the consequences for not finding men hot.

      But let me address your case points.

      1) Houses are not simply bought, they can be inherited. $39,200 is not a ton when you have 3-4 children, life still is not ideal.
      2) Cars can be cheap. My family bought one for 1500 and we've had it for 10+ years. We recently got another one for 3000 and are working to pay off that loan. So big deal there. Cars aren't always expensive.
      3) air conditioners are now a requirement by most apt complexes, as are microwaves in certain

      Its headed that way. The bottom line is, its going that way. Lets just make it better/worse and make sure that men make less money than women, that way you find men even less attractive.

      Its not about men making no money, its about men making the SAME. ANd if every man is the same no one is hotter/more attractive than another man.
      Same money, same ambition. All ugly.

      No... That's not what I want. Lovely assumption though. All of your "arguements" or case points revolve around the poor who aren't really seeking financial aid (unless its for school). so its rather irrelevant. And no one really intends who help those who already have. We're all working towards helping those who don't have much at all.

      Men aren't the only ones making money, sweety. And as I'm sure you've noted, men are normally the ones who contribute the most money for the homeless in terms of money although women follow closely behind.

      And we've been taxing "behavior" for decades now and it's continued AND grown exponentially.

      Finally, getting "rid" of the poor is not at all foreseeable. We're helping them live humane lives by creating more productive members of society.

      You do realize that the only way to get rid of the poor and make a balanced society is to in fact get rid of the rich and make everyone have similar wages.
      It also doesn't change the fact that you are punishing men who make money so that they can make less by taxing them.

      When you tax behavior, the behavior stops.
      If anything you should want men to have more money, not less.
