I have been dating this guy for a little over 3 weeks now. Everything is great and we really like each other! But I never know what to buy on holidays like this! Do guys expect to get anything on Valentines Day? Especially in such a new relationship?

On one of our first dates he mentioned he wanted a new hat with his favorite college football team's logo. He still hasn't bought one. I was thinking I could get him this for Valentines day. Guys what do you think? I thought maybe this would be good b/c it is something he wants and it shows that I was paying attention. Or should it be something romantic?

Do you have any other suggestions? Any ideas are appreciated!

And fyi: we have not slept together yet...so please not sex related gift suggestions.

A new t shirt make sure you get him the right size, or just some chocolate or rub yourself in chocolate and present yourself in front of him haha see what happens

Small gifts that show you care about the other person are always better than cliche chocolates, flowers, etc. I'd say the same goes for getting gifts for guys. I'd say the hat is a good idea definitely.

That's good, at least your paying attention and thinking. If you guys really like each other he'll like what ever you give him. Especially if its a motel key! But if your not at that point yet a hat is a good start. But don't stop there. You have a hat and now I would think get him something else that's romantic or kinda something you both can use. Like KY lube. J/K
Seriously, how about some Lift Tickets for snowboarding or something like that. Hope this helps!

I've read your question, comments, and concerns. From one female to another that's a great idea. A++++ for paying attention, and you're absolutely right on the bedroom stuff. That will come when it's time. I couldn't help but respond when I read the second comment below. That shows what brain that guy is working with, God bless the female that takes an interest in him. Happy V Day, hope it's a great one for the two of you.

Questions on valentine's day gifts
A Girl Asked Guys' Valentine's Day gifts...?
It seems so easy for guys to get girls generic gifts-- candy, jewelery, stuffed animals, etc. . . But there's nothing like that for guys, at least...
A Guy Asked Why do girls expect Valentine's Day gifts when guys rarely recieve them?
I mean shouldn't it go both ways, the world doesn't revolve around women of course, right?
