Body image is all in your psychology. There are people who are happy with X pounds while others with Y. If you're happy with yourself, others will flock towards that aura. Why do you think rich people have such a high suicide rate? They thought money would bring them happiness but when that fails, they can't take it. Same goes for anorexic people, They thought being skinny (when their goal should be "fit") would make them happy but it hasn't and attribute their depression to not being skinny enough. Getting off subject, sorry.
In my opinion, set a goal to what kind of body type you want and then take the necessary steps to get there (fitness wise, not boob/nose jobs, that's a different subject).
I used to be 5'7, 190 pounds of pure fat. Luckily I played sports so I've always been able to work out and run. After being fed up with the way I look, I began to research, workout, eat better.
I'm now 5'7 185 pounds of muscle (3 years later). Have I reached my goal? Not yet but instead of feeling depressed and sorry for myself, I went out and worked hard towards the body image I want.
"Everyone wants to go to heaven but no one wants to die."
Everyone wants X body style and Y amounts of money. If you want a certain look then spend the time in the gym and change your diet (it's not what you eat, it's what you don't eat).
The throwing up is very un-healthy and a waste of time. All you are doing when you starve yourself is making your body burn fat for energy but as soon as you eat anything. Your body will automatically replace the fat used.
You are young and you're skin will still respond very well the weight loss. My friend is 5'5 and was 180. She loss weight to 150 and looks great. She's not skinny but she is happier then ever. She's happy with her weight loss and now maintains the look she's got.
Your body image is for you to decide, how you get there is also entirely up to you. Remember nothing in life is worth anything without hard work.
Good luck, hope this helps.
