Guys....would you ever lie for it ?

In short, would a guy do that to get laid?

Yes, Yes, Y-E-S.

I personally couldn't do it without feeling like scum the rest of my life. I put a very heavy price on dropping the L-bomb and sometimes bite it back even when I REALLY care about the person, waiting for the right moment or something along those lines.

Unfortunately there *are* guys out there that would do this, at the drop of a hat, I've met some guys who work this way. Sometimes they just don't understand its cruel (mind you, this makes them very stupid) and sometimes they're just that sick kind of person that likes to manipulate people.

Or, they could be horny like a preteen and lack the conscious ability to weigh their choices before they make them, and thus make a stupid decision (I know guys who work this way as well).

Yes, there are guys who will do this. Unfortunately there's not many ways to tell when you're being played.

If they rush into the 'I love yous' I'd take notice of that as in my book its a big red flag. Your main safeguard against behavior like this is going to be making sure that you never do anything you're not ready or willing to do, no matter what the guy says he feels about you. If he really cares about you he'll wait until you're more comfortable.

That doesn't mean you should be closed off your whole life to avoid being played by people like this, just stay on your toes about it.

Avoiding sex altogether because there are some slime balls in the world is like never buying a car because car accidents happen.

I would never do that. But then again, I'm different from most guys.
