So I have been with this girl for a little over a year. As uneasy as it is to say we lost our virginity together. I have this best friend that I have helped over the past two years and we are just so close. She tells me everything and anything. When she needs advice she comes to me. We are in a program together and we belong to the same post. She has said before that she would not date anyone within our post because we are supposed to be a "family" and everything.

Me and her just have the best times together. My parents really like her and everything. The girl I am currently with is great too in a way. I love her (am confused) or I think I do. Before I was able to see a future with us together, but now she just seems like the totally wrong girl for me. She is not active like me and is unsure of what she is going to and she has a tendency to be lazy. She loves me and she has shown no change, which is having a bad effect on my decision making.

My best friend has a boy friend, that she came to me for advice on if she should get with him, and she has been with him as long as I have with my girlfriend. I know she won't and I don't expect her to break up with her boyfriend for me, but it would be nice. I think I love my friend and we are so much alike and I see a future with her because she is going to be something I know it. She has a great personality and everything. My current girlfriend is funny and stuff too, but she has an attitude a little bit and can sometimes make me mad. I used to be able to picture my life with her happy, but now I see problems and I think I could be happier with my best friend. I want to know how to go about this. Thank you.

Ask your friend how she feels. Be up front and say that you don't expect her to break up with her current boyfriend for you, but that your curious to how she feels about you. Depending on how she reacts and answers you just go from there.
