The question is simple. Having gone through the first real relationship of my life, it ending in a relatively quick way.
She was my first. I think about her a lot. I can't wait for her to comeback ,my heart is not a revolving door.
Its been a month now. I think about her a lot.

How much does your first love play into your life?

Are you reminded of her in the most simple ways?

How does she become a benchmark for your future relationships?

I know I'm young but my questions are valid none the less. It was a real love.
Thanks

Your first love will always be with you, in some way. Sad to say, but true. You learn from that first relationship, and person. It teaches you what to expect in the future, and you may take a while to get over it. Sometimes stupid little things will remind you of them, but as time goes by you'll think less and less of them. Its been a year since my first love and I broke up, and it was almost the same situation as you, except he was cheating on me for a month(we were together for 6), Eventually you just think less about them, and move on.

Hey, I'm the anonymous User that said: well from a girls p. O. V,. . .

To answer your question:
I found out that she found a new man. They were texting before we officially broke up. Now 2 weeks later she is out with him. She said she cared for me, then lied about him. What now?

___________________________________________

1. That doesn't mean she didn't care for you. She could have liked you but then found out that you guys became more distant and he could easily replace you.
2. You will find another girl. But a girl that wants YOU, and NOT to go around texting guys and switching them off and on like theyre flashlights.
3. She doesn't deserve you. It has been a while since me and my ex broke up but we only went out for a month. 5 months later, and I still occasionally think about him! But what happens is. You start realizing how nice it is to not worry about what I guess in your place what she is thinking, and what she is doing, and who she is with. Because obviously, she wasn't trustworthy!

You deserve much better, just don't always talk about her to girls. Try hard to put her in your past and move on into your future.

Good luck.

If you have anymore questions. Just ask :]

Well from a girls P. O. V,

I don't think girls are like first loves. Neither are first loves!

They will always be SOMEWHERE in your mind and your heart.

Your first love will go in and out. When you least expect it. But the only way to get over her/him is to think it was good while it lasted, but it is now over. Sometimes dwelling on things so simple make them complicated.

If you guys were together a while, then probably. Even just a week will leave things with you. Like they way she kissed you, and hugged you, and her laugh, and bad things you did, and going to the mall together. But it is not like every second of every day you will be thinking about it. The first month is the worst. You just have to go out with friends clubbing, or hanging out, or watching movies. And before you know it. You will barely remember her.

Well unless she literally ripped your heart out; yah you will be upset. Just like when you lost a pet. You will see the things you did wrong with her/him. Like if you yelled at her for talking while you were playing video games or something. You will start to realize that you shouldn't have did that and the future relationships will be much better.

I would be happy to help with any other questions, as well :]

I don't even think about my first love. After a while, you'll do the same. Think of it as a learning experience - Don't sweat it, kid. But what do I know, I'm Just A Random Guy.

Ah the teenage concept of love. You will look back and say "man that was stupid! "

The pain you feel now will be more intense the next time you invest your emotions into another girl. Not only will the pain increase but the joy and quality of love as well.

Consider yourself lucky to get your first heartbroken experience early.

You'll be okay, it's your first relationship. Think of it as you're first car, it's a beater and you got you're beginning driving experience of her. You will now choose and drive a better car as you make you're way through life.
