My ex broke up with me in January because of really no reason at all. I guess he just didn't like me anymore. We were together for 5 years. We don't talk anymore. He is a lawyer so I had to call and ask about an insurance question concerning my dad. He said that it was always good to hear from me and that he was thinking of me but I didn't respond to the comment. He told me when he broke up with me that he never saw us seeing each other. My question is why does he still call me baby and honey, and tells me that its always good to hear from me. When he broke up w me I contacted him for a bit then I just stopped and haven't text or anything in weeks. This is why its so hard to be in love because people like to play games and do bs things.

He probably does miss you. But, he would have contacted you if he missed you that much. Pet names are a way of keeping you guessing which, is what you are doing. I would continue the no contact so you can completely heal.
