I met my ex-boyfriend studying abroad in Europe last June. We quickly became best friends and dated for seven months. Two weeks ago, I stupidly started a fight with him about how I felt he wasn't spending enough time with me and he ended it, saying he needed space, I was becoming too clingy and that I was distracting him from his classes. (The night before I called him to argue I sent him a text telling him I couldn't "Deal with this anymore". )
We haven't really spoken since (he called me the day after dumping me, saying he wanted to explain himself, but I was cold to him and didn't give him the chance). He saw me on campus thursday chatting with a guy-friend of mine and I avoided him. A few mintues later he called me asking if it was really me he saw and wanted to know how I was doing and if I could return a belt of his I still have.
I miss him more than anything but I'm not sure how to handle the situation. I want to give our relationship another try, but he doesn't seem to want too. I'll be seeing him Monday to return his things and have decided to just play it cool and not make him feel pressured.
Ya, Tell him how you truly feel and give him a chance for him to say what he was going to say. When he saw you with your guy friend, he probably thought you had moved on. You need to tell him that's just a guy friend of mine. Let him know you want him back. Just tell him. Don't snap at him or yell at him. Tell him in a calm way. If you two get back together, don't be too clingy. Don't repeat that mistake again.
My boyfriend wants to break up.. but I really really don't. What should I do to get him back and prove I love him? Or what should I do to get over...
