Here is the deal. Dated for 2 1/2 years. 95% of the time were happy times. So many great memories. 5 months ago she lost her job and started to hang out with single girls. She started hinted "things need to change". I didn't know what that meant. It was my fault for not asking her what she meant. We went on 2 vacations and we were in the ocean kissing on each other and talking about our future just 1 month before she broke up with me. She called me and did the "We have to talk"...and then broke up with me right there saying "I can't change you, you are who you are..." I was devestated. I tried to call her, text her, send her emails... she ignored them all...just kept saying "im so sorry". A week later I went to pick up my stuff from her house and I proposed to her thinking that was the reason... she said No. We sat on the couch and she acted like she could not be happier about her decision. The only thing that gave me a little hope is that she said "I don't want to give you any false hope, but maybe in 6 months I will realize I made a mistake". I just picked up the rest of my stuff at her house the other day. She had pictures of us still up all over the house. I think its a lost cause. Any recommendations on how to get her back? I love her so much and miss her so much.
that's just weird. what could have caused her to have a complete 180? you definitely need to talk to her and get it out of her and ask why is she acting like that. you sound like a sweet guy, wasi tosmething these new girls said to her?
At this point, the best you can do is step back, give her some space, and grow as person while apart. By working on yourself, one of two things could happen: 1) after a while she comes back to the new and improved you, like it and wants to get back together 2) while trying new things you meet a new, completely amazing girl.
