First a little background: We have been dating for about a month and a half now. He is the very quiet type that does not talk about his problems. He just moved and does not have a phone. He has told me he has some personal issues he has to work out. He has been coming over at least once a week and borrows a phone to call me sometimes in between.
Now I have not heard from him in over a week. I'm starting to get upset and wonder if he is coming back. This is my first relationship in About 2 years and I'm not sure if I'm over reacting or if I have a right to be upset? Never mind. He broke up with me over the phone after ignoring me for a week and a half.
I am sorry to hear that, but don't let that let you down. If he has issues to work out, the further he is from you, the better it is. Why drag yourself into someone else's issues anyway. Good luck..
My mom alway told me to watch out for the ones that are quiet & now that I think about it maybe there is some truth to that. You never know what they are thinking! I say- let this one go by the way side- you haven't been with him long enough to have really invested deep feelings for him so that is a good thing. This guy sounds like he has a lot of baggage & has even pretty much told you that so maybe you should really listen to what he is saying & find someone who is more receptive to you. I can bet that if you continue with this guy you are in for a long bumpy road so him breaking up with you & even over the phone is a good sign for you to move on. You deserve better- keep looking!
