guys have feelings too, I do this all the time. as a guy it is way easier for the recovery process to find a new girl to quickly fool around with. that way I'm thinking about this new girl I'm with and not pondering over my ex.

People recover from events in their lives at different speeds.

Also, since you're saying he broke up with you, I would imagine he had been considering breaking up before he did it.

He may have been considering it for three months, or maybe three weeks. But the point is, he thought it about over time before he made his decision.

And that may have been all the time he needed to process his feelings and move on.

yannick Unfortunately, you are right. that really sucks and I'm sorry for you Jay Bee, unfortunately I can tell from experience that it's not the last time it's gonna happen. People say love sucks for a reason, because even though it makes us really happy, most of the times it comes with a lot of pain and for some reason that pain won't go away easily. Try to be positive though, as good a boyfriend as he might have been, you're definitely gonna meet other and better guys and that's gonna happen soon. - 3 months ago
Answerer Yea, you shouldn't be hung up on this. You're 16, and you have a lot of life ahead, and as you get older, guys become more refined and serious.
