My ex and I would ALWAYS argue about "fixing our relationship" and hopefully getting back together "soon" . We've been talking about it for about a week now . He still calls me and picks me up to hang out, we still go to church together, and watch movies together but the odd thing is that it's "dead" . Lately, maybe 2 days ago, he tells me that I'm BORING ? !
Recently, our conversations are dead . We have nothing to talk about besides hear each other breath . But we still call eachother- especially him . Just last night my ex told me that he DOES NOT MIND BEING SINGLE because it was "ALL RIGHT" but he would rather be taken by ME . Honestly, I got offended by that because I hate being single and I really want to be taken by him . I felt like he didn't feel the same way so why should I put in the extra effort for us to be back together again you know ?
He complains to me that I don't call him as much as he calls me, I don't ask him to come and chill with me, I'm boring, I don't talk as much, and I don't give him my full attention, he says that I argue with him and all I do is "push his buttons" on things that aren't even worth arguing about . He tells me to relax, don't make things a big deal, and just IGNORE it .
SERIOUSLY, how can I ignore the problem if the problem is US ? ! Like I said before, he WANTS to be taken by ME but WHY is he treating me like this ? WHY do I feel like I'm just his damn friend ? ! Not the girl he's trying to get back with ? Do YOU see any of his efforts ? Because I need someone to make me realize it . WHAT AM I DOING WRONG ? ! What do guys like in a girl ? Have any ideas on some fun, creative, and spontaneous things I can do with him to make him think that I'm NOT a boring person ?
I so badly want to show him who I really am- fun, random, and a really chill person . But it's harder for my part because he tells me that he's already impatient with me, that all the things I do ANNOYS him and hearing that doesn't make ME feel comfortable at all to show him who I really am .
If he's so annoyed by me then WHY does he want to get back together ? WHY does he still call or hang with me ? It's like he's saying one thing and not meaning it because he meant another thing . GUYS I NEED YOUR ADVICE .
WHAT IS HE DOING ? ! And WHAT AM I DOING ? And WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW ? And WHAT IS HE TRYING TO TELL ME ? !
He is trying to tell you he only wants you as a friend, and it probably is over. I know you probably want to keep trying, but you really should probably get over him. You just said that, "I felt like he didn't feel the same way " so you already know the answer you just have to accept it and move on. Take some time for yourself and just try to move on and if he wants to try again then he will come back to you. Just give it time and move on. Good luck.
