My ex broke up with me in January. We were together for 5 years. In Dec he was talking about getting engaged. Since then I haven't seen him and haven't spoke to him but once. When we broke up he never gave me as to the reason why he ended it. He has always ran into a cave when anything with feelings and emotions came up. He has ignored my texts for a while but he will kinda responds every once in a while. One day he I text a mass email to all my contacts and he responded and said "that it was always great to hear from you. " I have tried to ask him what was the reason he ended it and he will never tell me a straight answer. He basically said that he had been selfish throughout our relationship and I gave so much and he took more than gave. Which I don't buy that! Why can't he just come out and tell me to let it go to move on something so I will not think about him so much? Do guys not give you a straight answer and not tell you to get lost as form of not burning bridges and keeping the door open just in case they want to come back?

Again, you are hurting I'm sure and I'm sorry about that, but don't go stereotypical, you'll chase off the next guy. Not all guys are bad, not all girls are bad. Just because my ex left me after 5 years and almost 3 proposals for my best friend doesn't mean you would right? Society says guys have to be strong and can't show emotion, maybe that's his problem. Maybe he doesn't know how to feel. I've been there, especially for the past year. If he won't talk, you can't make him. The best you can do is give him one last chance to talk, if he doesn't, move on. Its all you can do. Don't do the rebound thing, just date around until you're ok for something serious, that way you don't hurt someone.

Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 19 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!
