My ex claims that I hurt him just too much (I broke up with him & he chased me for 3 months), that he waited as long as he could for me to figure out what I wanted. Well I did & I have told him that I want to get back together & he told me I waited too long. Is there any hope that he will come around?
It sounds like he resents you. He's hurt that he wasn't good enough then, so what's changed. He feels like he wants to give you a taste of your own medicine.
Leaving to figure out what you want is like saying to him that you want to see what else is out there, but you want him as a backup. That's a guys worst nightmare.
Getting back together really depends on how angry he really is. He might just want you to chance him for a while. That way he feels like he is really a catch again.
