hi there -- so I'm in a big dilemma and need help asap!
My boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 months now..and well everything was good..but these past 2wks have been difficult because his friends are visiting from out of the country and they're staying with him so I haven't really had too much time with him..and we haven't had time for being physical or just how it was... plus this past week I was feeling this a bit more than usual...so I asked him if everything was OK...and I met him that day things seemed fine...like he kept telling me that I'm his and we're dating and how much he cares then Fri...i went to see him specially even though I had to be somewhere soon and there was traffic hour...so I only had 30mins to spend with him at his room and he just sat on the comp all the time on fb...and I was about to just walk out..because it was so weird and awkward but then he stopped and comforted me and sat with me...and I asked him what's different he said nothing...
then I drove home he kissed me twice and then I got back..but I was feeling very unsettled and just weird so I called him and asked him to please be honest..and he said that he didn't wanna talk about this on the phone and stuff..and I eventually got it out of him and he said that the needs time to figure out what he's feeling for me ..because he doesn't love me yet (I don't either yet so i understand and its OK) but he was like I really care about you and this past wk that my friends been in town I've been so busy that I forgot to think about u...and all this stuff and he said he needs time to figure out his feelings..and what he wants... and well I am hotheaded and I got upset thinking he's just breaking up and I kinda pushed it and ended it..like I said yea we made our decision kinda thing...and he was like oh well we still have to talk about it in person on Mon and I'll still be ur friend and I care about u...and all that... then I had to leave so I just said bye..it was very rushed and I regret it A LOT now..and he texted me after saying we'd talk on Mon..and to take care and how he cares about me..but I didn't respond..then he called to check on me..and I was kinda cold...and he texted the next morning to check on me..and I called him back and said my texts were low so please don't text on top of the little small talk( that's the truth though he knows it) and well we had like 1.5 days of no communication and I realized that even when I'm busy I don't think about him so much which is understood right? its normal...but at night when I was alone I just kept thinking of him...and what to do...
so I realized I made a mistake and wanna take all that back...i finally texted him last night.. and he called back and was very nice and normal..and said that yea we'd meet & when we hung up he said OK bye mwah...(which s what we always did) so ...
I need help figuring out what to say to keep him with me..i know he needs space so how do I make that clear that I can give him space but want us to make it work?
Seems like you are handling it well. Just tell him straight that you want it to work no matter what. If he is willing and wanting the same thing, he will understand. Just keep being strong. Good luck.
