I think its completely cowardly to not give the person you were with the respect of a face to face conversation. If you have the balls to break up with them, then have the balls to look them in the eyes to tell them that. Period.
Its easy to say that, but actions speak louder than words. A lot of people prefer the easy way out. I doubt you would want a face to face conversation if you cheated on your boyfriend or found a new interest, I know you probably wouldn't do that to your boyfriend but if that happened you know wouldn't want to meet. - 4 months ago

Yea well I still would. If you have a relationship with someone, you give them the respect of a face to face conversation. If you cheated too bad if its awkward, you made it that way, and its your responsibility to end it with class and dignity and respect. it's cowardly and disrespectful. have some respect. if you are too much of a bitch to break up in person you shouldnt be dating period. sorry to be so harsh but I'm being honest. think of how the person you're dating would feel. you obviously liked them enough to date them, there are some feelings there obviously and then they get a random text breaking up? come on now that is pretty callous. that says that you do not have respect for them enough to break up properly or really care about them or their feelings. breakups are not pleasant, everything in life isn't easy as pie and fun, sometimes you have to deal with awkwardness.
A coward's way out by text. If you were a proper Man it would be done in person. You'll only feel awkward but just think of how the person you are breaking up with feels. It's not nice but have the balls to do it in person, if you can't you need to grow a set!
When you text break up, the girl reads that you never cared enough to get the guts to tell her face to face you don't want to be with her anymore. Itmay be akward, but what will be even more akward is the look you get from her best friends because she cried to them about you texting her your breakup. just suck it up and be a man
It's a matter of respect. Real human beings who have respect for each other communicate in a way that properly conveys emotion and sincerity, and that entails voice contact.
