I had a great relationship with a great girl. I joined the Army. The relationship ended. We both still had feelings for one another. She got into drugs and a sh*tty relationship. She ended the drugs and the sh*tty relationship. We started to talk/see each other again recently. After I figured out that she wasn't the same girl anymore and that she didn't want me as much as I wanted her, I called it off.
It's hard to not think about her. I miss her. I know she's changed now and I have a hard time letting go of that semblance of perfection and love. Anybody got some advice about getting over girls? Its been over 3 years btw
Wow, your whole story here was like looking into the mirror for me. I was in this same situation. Every bit of it. Even the army part. It's been 6 years for me, and the best advice I can give you, what worked for me being in the exact same identical situation as this was ambition. I chose to take my life into my own hands and become more than that person ever imagined. So while she lives somewhere wasting her life on drugs. I'm building an empire. There's no sense in keeping those feelings anymore. Everyday the memory fades and fades and fades. I'm thankful for how things happened. And id rather go back to iraq than than to have wasted my precious life with her. A drug addict who cares nothing for me. It's the price I pay for being a good man. Nice guys may finish last, be we finish with a glory that few will ever taste. So don't worry man. Just put it behind you. And make something positive out of yourself. We earned it. Now use it. - hopes this helps - I so feel ya on this one. - j
Damn thank you man, it means a lot. Especially since most guys have a hard time relating to the Army part of it. Good luck bro, thanks for your service. - 5 months ago
Yeah perfect thing for you its called mental drugs good ones tho. Go to a book store and under self help section look up title reinventing yourself. It might only be on cd. Every time I go through something dramatic or a break up I listen to that and my life takes new direction. Good. Just educate the shit out of your self and make your self stronger and better. Good?
When a person seems to get over his/her significant other in a week, does that necessarily mean that they didn't really love them since they're...
