Sunday was my birthday and my ex didn't get me anything, I really don't care she called me Saturday night at exactly 12:01 saying happy birthday that meant more than any gift does. But she feels bad about it I told her its no big deal. Rite b4 we started dating her b day came up and I spent a good amount of money on her so I guess my question is it ok that she didn't get me anything? Like I said I didn't mind the call was plenty to me it means she was thinking about me when she called I was like wtf does she want from me. Lol
Not to sound harsh, but. She's your ex. There's really no reason for her to feel like she has to get you a present. Frankly, the fact that she called you and said happy birthday is more than a lot of ex's would do. The fact that you bought her a nice present earlier doesn't change anything. Everything that happens in a relationship ends when the relationship ends. You can't start a tab of how much you payed for her gifts and then expect her to reciprocate even after the relationship is over. To expect an ex to get you a present is a bit of a stretch.
