Me and my ex were together for about a year, I broke up with him because I was mad it was nothing big (i was PMSng) lol. I wanted to get back with him because I love him and the breakup was so stupid! He told me he loved me but he was not gonna get back with me, I tried everything in the world to get back with this guy and nothing! So I just stopped trying. We haven't spoken in about a month or so & he already has a girl/f "outch! "

The thing is that he lost his mom about 6 months ago and I know he's still having a hard time with that, & are family's are really close. I don't know how to put him back in my life not like a b/friend but just as a friend because I really care about him & I really want to be there for him.

He told me he wanted nothing to do with me, but I'm thinking of calling him to see if we can talk but I know what his answer is gonna be (no! ). Or should I just let it go and confront him when all feelings are gone?

What do you guys think I should do? =[

Quite frankly, you are the one who made the choice to end the relationship - showed him that it had to be over. Regardless of the reasoning, he learned to accept your decision (a feat that many ex's fail to achieve very quickly). At the same time, he does have an emotional neediness right now as he is still dealing with the loss of his mother. What your breaking up did, was show him that he cannot place his full trust in your support in times of need, so, he has gone elsewhere seeking that support.

You can definitely try to talk to him, and do your best to show him that you can be there for him as a friend if not a gf, but that is all you can do. If it turns out that he just doesn't want you at all, then it would be to your and his benefit to let go completely.
