Since he's once your boyfriend he probably will cut the sweet talking like what a guy usually would say when they first met a girl. Instead he might do things like buy you flowers(if he's old fashion romantic guy), ring you(model guy), text/msn(shy guy) and tell you straight up he still love you and want to be back together.

Okay well whether you broke up with him, right after depending on the guy he will either be depressed or act as if it doesn't bother him even though it's probably killing him inside. since he broke up with you, he will talk about you with his friends or your friends hoping it will get back to you somehow. along with that he will do what he did in the beginning to show that he liked you.
