Does he want to get back together?

That's a hard one to answer. If he said he wanted to see you as an answer to your question (if you had a chance of getting back together) then it is possible, but be prepared for more heart break. It could go either way.

If he said he wanted to see you some time after you asked him that question, then only he knows if he wants to get back together.

Remember, however, that if you do want him back you'll have to jump through some hoops. Is he worth it? Carefully consider this before you do anything. Perhaps you should cut contact with him while you make your decision.

there's not really enough info here to draw a conclusion. what did he say when you asked him if you might get back together? How has the break up been so far? what did he say when he asked you to hang out? sounds like you may just need to sit down and ask him straight up what the deal is.

Sounds like he may still have some feelings for you since he suggested you hang out together.
I don't think he would be just trying to be nice to actually suggest and want to hang out with you.
I would take it slow though and let him chase you. Hang out with him and have a good time and show him what a cool girl he is missing.
