How about my ex keeps calling me every 2 weeks I guess and then when I tell him what he doesn't like to hear for example that I don't know this person is right now and that I miss the person that I dated.he gets all mad.I told him that he needs to love himself first but at the same time why is he calling me what is it that he wants for me I don't need someone in my life who is unsteady and I'm not going to be his self esteem lifter if he thinks so.Right now he makes me so upset when he leave a conversation with him. It is not fair what he is doing.what does he want me back or just messing with my emotions again. Please help me for I really don't know what to think or do anymore.
Update: Today I still feel like crap for how our phone call ended.PLEASE will someone talk to me about this, It would mean so much to me.

It seems like he is going through some personal issues. He's sort of confused about where he is in his life right now. He needs time to figure out who he is and what is important to him. He gets mad because you're telling him things that he know are true but he doesn't want to hear it, especially from you. If you have to talk to him, try to stick to general stuff, not anything too deep or critical, otherwise just cut out communication. He needs this time for personal growth whether he takes it or not.
