We were together for 5 years and then all of a sudden he cheated then dissed me for another girl. Now 6th months later he is demanding an answer if I still love him or not (while still with the girl he dissed me for). He says he doesn't want any contact but he says his heart tells him to ask. I have not given him an answer obviously but I do want to know what does he want from knowing if I am in love with him or not.
I agree with Miss-Spicy, this sounds like a "having cake and eating it" scenario. If you tell him you love him, he may think, "I cheated on her and left her for another girl, and she STILL loves me! I must be great!"
If you do still have feelings for him, you need to qualify them. You probably don't love him at the moment, and you should let him know that you dislike him for what he's done. If you care about how he's doing, tell him that as well. The first step to reconciliation is mutual empathy.
He needs to understand that if he ever expects to get you back in this lifetime, it will be an uphill battle.
I would want to know cause he might have a guilt feeling and need to know if he did the right thing(which obviously he didn't) or he did the bad thing. So if you tell him you love him he'll know that he hurt you. If you say he don't then he probably will feel better.
It sounds like ego talking. And, if you say that you still love him, then he may think you could be a booty call some night. Don't answer him and give him the satisfaction.

Well I am in a very deep relationship. Going very well, I think he might be the one. I just want to know if I am still date-ABLE? Im a very open and comfortable with myself, so I would have to say a lot. But not enough to figure me out on one day.
