Alright, long story. I went out with a girl during the school year. We went out for a few months, I really cared about her. She was so beautiful and we had some great memories together.
She told me that she MIGHT move over summer. I was a tad worried, but I made the best of the time I had with her just in case. Eventually she tells me she's moving. I was frustrated and asked her why she didn't tell me sooner. She thought I was mad at her. we had settled a long time ago that we weren't trying a long distance relationship. So anyway, she just stopped talking to me, I called her, but no answer, I did everything I could. She moved without talking to me. She still hasn't texted me to this day.
The way she left really stunned me. It took me a while to stop constantly thinking about her.
I do still think about her a few times a week. How can I move on? I have tried to get another girlfriend or something, but no luck.
Update: So should I try to talk to her and see what's up or just completely forget about her?

It's hard. Sometimes we just have to live with the scars of a heartbreak, but life is way too short to let it pass you by thinking about someone who's gone. I can totally relate to your situation, but what I did (since I'm an artist) was to make paintings and write in journals as a type of outlet to my frustration and pain and questions that were left unanswered. You can get through it, you just have to give it time. Hope that helps some.
I have had this exact story play out in my life for the past year and I'm honestly still asking myself how to get over it all. The only thing that's going to help you is time and patience. You need to just keep trying to actively find another girl to show all your emotion to and love. In the end its going to come down to forgetting her through the next girl in your life.
You'll just have to let time tick to get over her. Also, I would say put yourself out there, but just don't act like you're out on the prowl. For some reason being out and about works, but when you have that look of someone looking for whatever is out there, it's a turn off.
K, so me and this guy have been seeing each other for a few months. We just kinda hit it off from the start. While we're making out next time, do you...
