When my boyfriend broke up with me, he worded it as "I think we should just be friends." A few days later, when we finalized the break up, I asked him if we were to stay friends or not and first he said he didn't care. Later in the conversation, he said he didn't want to be friends and he doesn't want to be close with me? Why is he acting this way? It makes no sense.and should I call him to ask about it?
Well first of all how long were you to together? Second of all I do not think you should call him just give him his space for a litle bit at least two weeks, might be hard, but it will be worth it. He broke up with you for a reason so just let him think ya know. Jelously is the best thing us girls we have over men! So just if you guys go to the same school just talk to other guys and act like your not ever affected by the break up. :)
It might be too soon for you all to be friends to him. Usually when people become friends after they break up, they usually end up hurting each other even more or wind up getting back together. I guess he just doesn't want contact with you right now.
aww. I think by telling you that you guys should just be friends he was just trying to let you down easy. it is nearly impossible to stay friends after a break up, unless it was mutual. Usually AT LEAST one person will get hurt and no one wants to stick around for the friendship of someone who hurt them.
