-Do not pursue, beg, reason with, call, spy on, enlist the help of his friends, act as if you are moving on with your life, or ask for reassurances, and make your man pursue you and he will possibly come back. BUT, are these truly effective strategies to make him miss you and want to be with you again or to just help you get over him? I've been researching on the internet and I'm questioning the validity of those responses.
I'm sure it depends on the relationship and how it ended. But, my question is that I had my man tell me he cares for me, loves me but is not in love with me, does that have any slight possibility of being reconciled? We were intimate on so many levels and were together for 4 months, but I suppose I should just cut my losses.
Recently, we have been talking and he emailed me and told him if I ever wanted to talk to call him, but it didn't seem like I wanted to on the phone. I had to call him due to health issues that were related to him, he sent me the email after we talked. Hmm, not sure what to think.
They are just ways to shield yourself and act as if you're fine until you are. Bargaining, asking for a second chance, let's be friends, etc. can work, or they can be annoying. Like you wrote, it depends on the relationship. But I don't think the listed strategies have any connection with someone returning. I don't know how he could love you without being in love with you. Sounds more like he cares about you but not quite as much as he needs to for the relationship to work.

Sorry Karma, I don't know what is the best way to get him back. I don't want to give up on my friend but everyone tells me to forget about him. When your heart is saying one thing but your friends are saying another. Just pray and ask God to give you strength....with time all wounds heal.....Good Luck
