How do I get over him?

Okay, clearly, you do not wait for him. Ever. If you needed him to pick you up from the airport, you do not wait for him. You take the bus. That's not a metaphor. You literally do not depend on this guy in any way, shape or form because HE DOES NOT DESERVE YOU.

There's no easy way to get over a break-up, especially if you're the dumpee and not the dumper. What you need to remember is that your self-worth and your dating future is dependent on the choices you make, not him. Now me telling you that this guy is a jerk (and he clearly is) probably doesn't help. You probably already know this but you still want to be with him. It's the part of affection that doesn't make any sense and it sucks. If love were completely rational, we probably wouldn't need this site.

But if you see your own value as a person, then you'll realize that he doesn't matter. You're a great person and he's simply not worthy of you. Be, in the words of our President, The Decider. Feel confident in who you are and know that it's his loss, not yours. Every time you start to long for him, try to remember that.

Don't waste your valuable time waiting on a jerk like him. You should move on to someone who does deserve you. I'm sure there is someone who appreciates you & is waiting on you like your waiting on that jerk. Getting over him won't be easy but give it some time and I'm sure you will. Good luck.
