He confessed to me and I said yes. I had to dump him after 5 days because of a lot reasons. It would never be able to work out and I explained that to him. Yes he is a player though. Is there any chance that he still wants to talk or be friends? What are some things that might be going through his mind?

Answerer If he was cheating, why would you want to be friends with him? Seems like a deal-breaker to me. - 11 months ago

my ex was a player. if he's been with a bunch of girls who don't care about him, he may have realized there is more to relationships, but you won't really know he's changed unless you can talk tohim.

Players never turn out to be good lovers. Being friends might be the same way. How could you trust someone when they don't know what they want

I'm sure he won't mind talking to you or being friends with you. Players are usually fun people and likeable, and they also like people.

But if you were looking for a solid friendship or a future relationship, I don't think that it would be a healthy one because there may not be enough respect for each other.
