My ex of 8 months broke up with me about a week ago with no warning signs. I had left town due to family matters and when I got back he said that he thought of me as a' friend' no longer a girlfriend and that we were two different people. I have had no contact with him since the split. Do you think it is possible he will want to get back with me?
I was dumped and I kept thinking he was going to come back. I thought this because he dumped me many times before and came begging in a matter of weeks. Then one day he never came back.. he called me here and there.. which sent me mixed signals.. now he's telling me he still lieks me but has never asked for me back. If he broke it off wit you.. he can do it again.. and if you do get back with him.. he will probably hurt you again. I suggest you to save the heart break from happening. He might come back.. but if you have no contact with him it might not happen.

Well here's what you need to do. don't consider it "waiting" for him cause if for some weird reason he doesn't come back, you will be even more heartbroken. you have to hope for the best but expect the worse. when my boyfriend and I broke up, I told myself that he is never coming back and I started to date other guys and move on. this way I wasnt going to get m hopes up just in case he never came back. it wasnt until about a month till he came begging. but all guys are different. I think we need some more detail. How close were the two of you? When you left, did you call him while you were gone? Did you confide in him regarding the family problem? Maybe he feels like you didn't talk to him at a time in need and that means you don't "need" him.
We were very close. we would sleep over at eachother's houses all the time. go out together etc. when I left , we texted. Two days before I left he sent me a random text saying how much he loved me and how pretty I was. I told him about the family problem and my thoughts on it, we didn't talk about it very often though.
