Most people miss the comfort that comes from being in a committed relationship. Often, in a break-up, a person is losing his most trusted companion--the one with whom he shared everything.

With that comes the realization that he'll have to build a new relationship from scratch, which is daunting, especially if the previous relationship was long-term.

What really anoys me during/shortly after a break up is the contact with them. I need my space after being dump to get myself back together and back on track and having the girl that just dumped me, still calling does not help. I don't mind trying at least for the friends thing but I need my space for a while to collect myself

What annoyed me was that I'd see my ex everyday in class and she wouldn't even acknowledge me. like I went to get a paper from her and she handed it to her friend sitting next to her and had her give it to me.

I think it is like if someone breaks up with me and still calls all the time and still wants you to do stuff for them and when you try to talk to them about getting back together the say no. So why then call and ask for stuff. wouldn't that be confusing to you if you were dumped. I JUST DON'T GET IT. I know guy and girl both do this but if you really don't want to be with them then why have contact. Ow ya and another thing is we can be friends. Well that don't work for everyone. one person usually always has the feeling of wanting it to work out so friends just don't work.

Not hearing from them is pretty bad. But being sad is the worst. Me and my boyfriend broke up last Monday and I'm still sad over it. I really miss him and would give a lot to have him back.

All of the above I can relate too lol especially the first one. its annoying when someone breaks up with you and doesn't have a good enough reason and then months later "he" doesn't even know why he's not with u. I hate the whole "commitment phobia" its lame, I mean if you have someone who loves you and cares for you and would do anything for you and also if you know that person is hot as hell then why the f*** break up with them. why break up with them and still want to have them in your life. guys can be confusing as hell sometimes.

The feeling that the love is starting to fade...I just see my love for him start to fade and I can not believe that I loved him sooo much and when he decides to come back I would have moved on! It's the feeling of we had something so good and you could not tell and now even if you want me back the feeling is gone! :(Thats what annoys me the most.

What annoys me the most is suddenly realizing that you are moving on with your life without them.

Advice: How To Deal With A Broken Heart
Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 19 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
I pretty much always start out with a friendly greeting. I follow that up with a comment or question relating to where we are (club, amusement park, etc...). After that, just find out whether she is there with other people and what they are up to that evening. If the conversation to that point goes well, I then ask her/them if they want to join me/us and take it from there.

How do they typically respond?
With this approach, I have had success (I would say at least 2/3 of the time) and it might have to do with the genuine attempt to get to know them. Its important to display a calm and confident approach because its those brief moments in which a girl decides whether to deny you or is left intrigued by you and is wanting more.

Do I have the right approach?
