I am the 42 year old who lost the love of his life, and is hoping that by waiting and recording a song for her about us and my loss without her, I might be able to touch her heart. I have the video ready, and am trying to figure out how to get it to her now. In the meantime, I have been told that she is very happy with her current situation, and all of a sudden I keep passing her when I am going anywhere! I NEVER used to see her in my part of town, it's unbelievable that now The "cosmos" keep allowing us to pass each other. And when we pass, I offer a very subdued wave, but she won't look at me at all and has a VERY upset look on her face. I don't know what I am doing to make her madder, as I am not contacting her in ANY way. But my question is, does it still seem possible that the video could have any impact, AND, how can a woman that I was so close to rather suddenly be disgusted by seeing me? Again, we NEVER argued, etc, but apparently she is seeing someone . I don't get it, but I love her just as much as ever.
I think, maybe the reason she always looks so upset when you pass her is because she still cares. It probably still hurts her as much as it hurts you to see her and if she doesn't look at you, it's ok. I know I'm young but the first guy I ever loved and I had this situation. I couldn't look at him because it hurt me so bad to see him living without me. Maybe that is how she feels. Maybe the video will really touch her heart and break her down to the point that she realizes she has to have you. Don't worry, things are going to end up ok.
It's okay because it seems that this happens a lot to many people, sometimes you have to learn to let go. I know it's hard. Maybe deep down in her heart she still cares about you though.
I think you may have to let her go. If she looks upset just at the sight of you, there's nothing you can really do. If I were in your shoes, I'd send her the song anyway but then drop it and move on if she doesn't want to try again.
