My boyfriend and I have been dating for about 8 months. I'm technically his first long term relationship "serious" so he was treating me great and we got along great, and he told me so many amazing things. Until a couple of months ago he started acting distant. And we would get in fights and he broke up with me telling me that I was the perfect girl but he just couldn't handle the being in a serious relationship, he said that he never thought he would feel like this for a girl, and thought I was just like any random girl and he just isn't ready for something so perfect. After we broke up it only lasted for a week and then we started dating again and it was like a new relationship. And then recently my grandma kicked me out so I'm staying with him at his parents. And even then we were doing great. And then all of a sudden he acts just like he did the first time we broke up being distant and stuff. And I do so much for him and been there for him when he had his bad times. So he breaks up again. And he says he still and will always have feelings for me and that he wasn't upset because he thinks something will happen in the future with us its just that now is not the time. Sometimes we still cuddle. I finally got fed up with it and said to make up his mind and stop using me and he got mad and said he wasn't and that I will never understand how he feels. And that its not like that. He says I'm different from all the other girls. He just confuses me and I need help so bad.
You don't say how old he is, but assuming he is under 25, most guys that age are ready to just go out, and have 'fun'! So he could be having doubts if he should commit or keep on having fun. His acting distant most likely is because he is afraid to get closer, but yet at the same time, you might be his ideal girl, but he might be thinking he is missing out on the fun out there.
Well I moved back home far away from him. And he drove with me there because it was a ten hour drive. And then he flew back the following day. It was really sad. He cried and so did I. But not as much as me lol. And he gave me some things to remember him. - 7 months ago
Sounds like a similar situation as mine. He was 24 and we were dating for 9 months, we were about to by a house and he was going to propose and BAM he left and moved out same day. Don't let him have his cake and eat it too, my ex is the same girl and you need to tell him to just get his shit together and if he's not ready then that's his lose and he'll realize it at some point. But don't let him get what he wants if your not getting what you want.
