Should I send my ex a Valentine card if he is with someone else now, but still playing head games with me?

I have recently wrote about my ex who is seeing a married woman but, still tells me he loves me. Although, I have been trying to not have contact as much as possible with him I still do love him very much & have hopes that someday down the road he will realize that I'm the one he really loves & come back to me. He lives with his brother now, so she is not there to see that I sent him a card if I decide to do that. A part of me is afraid to send a card though, because I don't want to fall back into where he knows I still love him so it is alright to keep doing what he is doing with her. We were together for 4 years & engaged to be married & Valentines Day used to be a special day for us- we both used to go all out for each other. I would appreciate knowing what you all think I should do- since I have not been in contact with him as much it seems that he has contacted me more so I don't want to ruin that.
