ok so me and my ex were best friends for about a year before becoming a couple .. then we were a couple for about 4 years ... he broke up with me7 months ago ... he said that we had just been fighting a lot etc... well 2 mo. after we broke up he moved into a house with 2 of our mutual friends that I go and visit often ..we started talking/flirting again and having sex ... this has lasted for a few months on and off .. we will get mad and not talk for a few weeks and then somehow end up in bed together again ... a week ago we had a party out there and we went to his room and he told me that he hasn't been with anyone else since we broke up (im the first girl he has ever been with at all) ... I'm almost 21 and he just turned 20 ... and he is a very attractive guy and has many girls falling all over him yet he still hasn't taken any of them .. well after we hooked up he told me to go get on the couch because he didn't want anyone to think anything (because our mutual friends get mad and think its a bad idea for us to sleep together) I was so mad I started crying and left and I haven't talked to him since then ... I don't know what to do everyone says the no contact thing is a good idea but how can I ignore him when he isn't trying to contact me ... I just find it strange that he hasn't been with any of these other girls that want him if he is so over me? what can I do I really need some helpful advice instead of people telling me to just forget him ... if I stay away do you think he will ever try and contact me again even if its a long time from now?

Yea I don't know why they don't want us to be together .. I think mainly because they saw what each of us went through breaking up and they don't want either of us to get hurt again so they think we should just move on ... its been one week since we have talked and its killing me I want to text him so much but he would probably just ignore it ...
