After a break-up..do you guys feel hurt as much as girls do?

I, personally, am an extremely sensitive guy. I may be the football mvp and the jock of the school, but I do cry and feel hurt all the time. My girl, who I am madly in love with, left me and I was on the verge of suicide and sorta still am. So yes, guys do get hurt. But we aren't like girls, we do it in private. I wouldn't cry in public unless I am extremely hurt. Yes, it makes it very hard for us to sleep, or at least me, and it really does hurt us.

I think that breakups always hurt for everyone, maybe not to the same degree. But it depends on the breakup. I have spent many countless nights losing sleep. I know your "heart" doesn't really have to do with "love", but when you have a breakup, it does feel like your heart is in a vice. But yes, it does happen for guys too!

It always feels terrible, like a knife in the heart. You feel totally drained and weak. And, yes. You do have trouble sleeping. Its hard to forget someone; it often takes a long, long, time.

i think guys do what they can and hang out with friends as much as they can so they can keep that girl off there mind. And I think that when they are alone at night that's when those memories go through there head.

i think it depends on who does the breaking up.
