How much time does a guy usually needs space or time after a break-up?

I can't really help you out that much but me and my boyfriend went on a break and I thought a week tops. Well things went down hill from there we just kept fighting all the time so he completely ended things. I was really hurt and was really lost at that point, I had no clue what happened. He told me that he needed to get his priorities straight. We broke up for about a month and are now back together and we've been together for 4 months

So what I'm saying is just give him time to realize he needs you and misses you.
